The Winnipeg Architecture Foundation, founded in 1996, is a charitable organization dedicated to advancing the awareness and appreciation of architecture in Winnipeg through public education. The organization executes vast amounts of research into local buildings and architects, primarily those affiliated with the modernist period (1945–1975).
The WAF periodically offers themed architectural tours around Winnipeg that are open to the public. We have been designing a number of informational booklets to be provided to those participating, or simply to those who are interested in the material. Print and PDF versions are available.- Website:winnipegarchitecture.ca
